Warm New Year’s Greetings

Knutkorg Class 2022

Students and friends of Woodspirit School—we send you warm New Year’s greetings!

We started this project a year ago, remember? Our first year was very busy and very exciting as we transformed a garage into a classroom, grass into garden beds, and hosted 32 workshops, community events, online interviews and demonstrations. The highlights were the Open House celebration, many lively Craft Night Potlucks, and a sold out Willow Basketry class in the Fall.

Our goals this year include fully enrolled classes, continuing to foster enthusiasm for craft through community events, and install proper siding for the building.

Many of you have already signed up for a class and we look forward to meeting you! If you haven’t yet, we hope you will browse some of our class offerings and decide to visit the Chequamegon Bay Area, and spend time learning and making with us this year.
