What is the closest airport?

Ashland, WI (pop. ~8,000) is a little over an hour’s drive from Duluth, MN where the closest international airport DLH is with connections from Chicago and Minneapolis. There is a smaller airport with limited flights in Ironwood, MI. Some people also drive here from the airport in Minneapolis, MN ~4 hours away.

Where can I stay? What is there to eat?

There are hotels and Airbnb’s in Ashland as well as campsites (both tent and RV). Prentice Park is the closest campground to the school, but they do not take reservations. You could also look for places near Washburn or a little further in Bayfield.
